Rizwan Zaman is a native of India, however he has called Orlando home for over 40 years.  From an early age, he has always been involved in community programs and development; whether it was feeding the homeless, organizing interfaith events, or developing youth programs.  As a devout Muslim, his family were among the original founders of the local Islamic community and he continues to support social, educational, and outreach programs with Greater Orlando.  He recently came out publicly, as a proud gay Muslim and has been a resource for other Queer Muslims struggling with their identity within their homes and community.

Professionally, Rizwan received his MBA in Healthcare Management from University of Miami and has owned a consulting firm, in the same field, for 25 years.  Although his work requires him to travel across the United States, his personal support of his local Orlando roots has remained constant.  He has previously served on the United Arts, Orlando Ballet and Contigo Fund Boards.  Currently he is serving his second terms on the Boards of the Holocaust Center and Snap Galleries, and most recently joined the Zebra Coalition Board!

Rizwan has been passionate and outspoken about the Anti-Bullying campaigns with the Holocaust Center and Zebra Coalition and has supported their efforts throughout the community.  He also lends his voice to these causes to echo into the political arenas in an effort to bring more awareness and collaboration.

In his personal time, Rizwan completed his passion to study fashion at Parsons School of Design in New York and continues to produce unique outfits for his own creative development.
